Russellville, Arkansas

Located along the Arkansas River and Lake Dardanelle, Russellville is located in the heart of the Arkansas River Valley between Ozark and the Ouachita Mountains. The city is approximately halfway between Little Rock and Fort Smith, and is the seat of Pope County. The first white settler to the area was P. C. Holledger who built a home here in 1834. The next year, he sold his log home to Dr. Thomas Russell, who the city is named after. Russellville has a lot to offer: industry, fishing, hiking, breath-taking views, and an abundance of activities.
